Bishop Jessie L. Mountain is the 2nd Vice Presiding Bishop of Covenant of Truth International Fellowship, as well as the Pastor of both Abundant Life Miracle Deliverance Church in Harrison, Georgia and Faith Apostolic in Tennille, Georgia.

 

Bishop Mountain gave his life to the Lord in the year 1983 and has been serving God faithfully and fervently since. Ordained as an Elder in April of 1997, Bishop Mountain began

establishing fellowship with several churches throughout the state of Georgia,

and is hailed as an anointed Sheppard and inspirational leader. Bishop Mountain

leads by Godly example, operating in love, patience, and kindness, and always

strives to bring smiles and laughter to those he encounters, while also sharing the

gospel of Christ. He can usually be heard stating, “It takes more muscles to

frown, so why not smile instead”.

 

As a native of Sandersville, Georgia, Bishop Mountain attended and graduated

from Washington County High School. Following, he worked for the Department

of Transportation for 30 years, where he ultimately retired. In his free time,

Bishop Mountain enjoys fishing, going on cruises, and meeting new people. Above

all, Bishop Mountain enjoys teaching and preaching the Word of God whenever and wherever he in an effort to build God’s Kingdom. His favorite scripture is John 3:16, which reads in the New King James Version, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.

 

Bishop Mountain is married to Linda G. Mountain. Together, they have 5 sons and several grandchildren.
