Bishop Byron K. Curry is the Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop of Covenant of Truth International Fellowship, established in 2010 after he vowed to God that if given the opportunity, he would create a fellowship unified in body that builds and advances the Kingdom of God through holistic ministry.

Bishop Curry gave his life to Christ on September 24th, 1991 and answered the call to preach the gospel shortly thereafter. However, he knew that he was called by God and destined for a  higher purpose

at the tender age of two when God began dealing with him in dreams and through visions,

which he would later share with his mother and  acquaintances in his teen years.

Bishop Curry was ordained as an Elder in March of 2004 and went on to establish Abiding

in the Word Christian Ministries, Life in the Word Kingdom Ministries located in

Savannah Georgia, in February of 2005. In addition to his Bishop and Pastoral duties,

Bishop Curry preaches the gospel weekday mornings virtually, is host of the podcast Just

Brothers, and is also a talented songwriter. Having released his first single titled “I'll

Rise Again” in April of 2019, he became the Owner/CEO of SWAA (Saints with an Attitude)

Music, LLC.

As both Presiding Bishop of Covenant of Truth International Fellowship and Senior Pastor

of Kingdom Citizens Church (formerly known as Life in the Word Kingdom Ministries),

Bishop Curry is regarded as an anointed vessel of God, a prophetic leader, a dynamic preacher, a powerful teacher, a general in the Spirit, and a man of integrity and authority by those he covers. Living and leading by God’s Word, Bishop Curry exemplifies the characteristics of a Godly father, operating in love, kindness, wisdom, compassion, and selflessness, while also challenging and encouraging his sons and daughters in the ministry to be the Kingdom Citizens they are designed to be. Because of this, he is called “dad” by many.

A native of Savannah, Georgia, Bishop Curry was educated in the Chatham County Public School System, graduating from Alfred Ely Beach High School. He later attended and graduated from the Milton Solomon Bennett Bible Institute. He holds an honorary doctorate from Teach Train and Send Bible Institute.

Bishop Curry is married to his only wife of 32 years, Ericka Curry. He is the father of six, and grandfather of 11.
